Kirsten knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist since the 8th grade; her favorite part of the job is helping patients regain confidence in their smile and teaching them the effects that oral health has on the rest of the body. She is exceptionally proud of the relaxed, welcoming nature of the practice. Away from the office, Mikayla likes to stay young at heart by keeping up with all things Disney and obsessing over Harry Potter (Ravenclaw, obviously). She cultivated these skills growing up on a farm and through her lifelong participation in 4-H and FFA (Future Farmers of America). When she’s not hard at work, you’ll find Laken relaxing with an episode of CSI / Criminal Minds or attempting to master yoga.
